ritual smoking de-Vice pt. 1 & 2

when I smoke, it's a 'spiritual' thing and not so much about escape as it is about opening the mind or to keep my perspective when being barraged with societal bullshit.

the video and photos below show the first water pipes I've made.
all are for ritual use and not meant for illegal purposes.

want me to make you one?
I take trades and green backs... let's make a deal!

be strong with your limp gun - be chicken and know when to run - be quick in the feet and mind rabbit.... please don't die my brother derek.

made this in a sorta ritualistic way. thinking the entire time about my brother, who was gonna go back to the "sand box' for a third time... this time it was to be afghanistan... and the entire time I played with the clay I thought "please don't go".

funny thing, the day I called it quits on this was the same day derek got the news -he was rejected because of high cholesterol.

the power of 'art'!

be strong with your limp gun - be chicken and know when to run - be quick in the feet and mind rabbit.... please don't die my brother derek.
is made outta brass, clay, a 'war on terrorism expeditionary medal', sea shells, amy's c.o.c ring, broken figurines, and a coyote penis bone.

the new class system

We've grown out of the conventional class system and into the new class system - those who suffer from PTSD and those that do not.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder doesn't just apply to the military. It's fits any and all who have suffered trauma, without the benefit of time to heal.

Until I befriended a vet suffering and diagnosed with PTSD, I never knew.

After figuring out what PTSD was, I felt the military was lucky to be diagnosed with PTSD - they at least have reason why they no longer fit into a normal situation.

But where's the PTSD pills for the rape victims in the ghettos and the beaten and abused kids from the burbs??

I wish someone would have schooled me on PTSD alot sooner.... it's really helped me figure out why I've acted out of character from time to time.

now, if they would just legalize weed.

first they came for the ass rippin pornographers and no one stopped them...

I'm sad Rob might do some time for his films.
I'm mad no one seems to care.

It was everything you've heard and more to work with Rob and Lizzy - cool at time, scandalous at others... I can't wait to see what they do next!

stay strong and the beAst of luck to the black/zane/zaccari tribe.

Below is a bit of behind the scenes, filmed for my infamous adult film - Club Satan: The Witches Sabbath

homeless treehouse

I'm happy with this one... can't say that about everything I've done and I seldom like something after so little time with it.

made with a chipped dish, driftwood, smashed figurines and clay.

Here's a pick with little 'color' and no bottom.
Inside the bottom.
Start of the bottom of the bottom.

PDX KILLS! Or Portland, Or. is a-ok with me.

Because we live on a small peninsula, in the pacific ocean, where the prices are high, and the selection small... getting into Portland is a HUGE deal for me.

This trip to PDX was GOOD cuz:

- I made the trek into PDX to fetch my younger brother from the airport. He's visiting for the next handful of weeks, so it made the trip that much more of a bonus.

- I caught a pitbull attacking a child, live on tape - beware, the below, youtube video is in real time and shocking for some.

- the food carts! Not sure the exact location, but trevor and I hit "Best of Kazakhstan" and it was the BEST meal I had in PDX.
